Mission Statement
Men of Distinction Foundation of Hempstead
The Men of Distinction Foundation of Hempstead is dedicated to serving the community of Hempstead, NY through a range of community-based service initiatives, scholarships, charitable activities, and provisions of food and clothing. The foundation's goal is to provide consistent and ongoing support to individuals in need, with the aim of establishing a reliable and enduring framework of assistance to and for the community of Hempstead, NY.
$20K Donated
Over 20,000 dollars in donations have been made to support college expenses for the winners of the MODFH scholarship within the Hempstead, NY community.
Over 1K Served
Our efforts have resulted in over one thousand families receiving meals, as well as the distribution of coats and scholarships to residents of Hempstead, NY. Our work is ongoing, and we are continuing to provide support to the community.
Community Based Programs
Throughout the year, MODFH hosts ten events and programs to support the local community. These initiatives encompass coat drives, National Night Out, Thanksgiving meals for families in need, toy drives, and various other activities.
Ongoing Mentorship
Gain access to a network of over 100 professionals with knowledge in law enforcement, education, legal matters, civics, and more while providing ongoing mentor services for Hempstead residents.
