The Men of Distinction Foundation of Hempstead is a non-profit organization comprised of the Brothers of Doric Lodge No. 53. Our goal is to provide a variety of services, events, and initiatives to sustain and uplift the community of Hempstead, NY. Our purpose is to continually offer help and support to anyone needing assistance. We focus our resources on supporting graduating seniors as they transition to college by providing financial assistance for college-related expenses. Our coat drives, food distribution events, holiday initiatives, and giveaways are aimed at assisting families and individuals who may require these resources throughout the year. We aim to address and reduce the poverty, hunger, and socioeconomic challenges that many Hempstead residents encounter.
