National Night Out
National Night Out is a yearly gathering that takes place at Denton Green Park in Hempstead, NY. This event is a collaborative effort with the Village of Hempstead, with the goal of fostering stronger relationships between the police and the community. Attendees can look forward to a variety of activities such as bike giveaways, gift cards, food, clothing, and participation from local vendors, all in support of a united community night out.
MODFH Scholarship
The annual Men of Distinction Foundation of Hempstead scholarship dinner is a special event that honors and celebrates the academic achievements of high school seniors from Hempstead who are preparing to embark on their first year of college. Our foundation, known as MODFH, plays a crucial role in supporting these graduates by offering financial assistance to help alleviate the burden of college expenses. This support enables the students to pursue their higher education goals with greater ease and confidence.
Halloween Candy Giveaway
Our annual Halloween candy giveaway is a special event for the families of Hempstead who will be joining in the local trick-or-treating activities. This event aims to unite families on Halloween night, offering complimentary candy, food, and entertainment courtesy of the Men of Distinction Foundation of Hempstead.
Pink Tie for Cancer
Each year, the Men of Distinction Foundation of Hempstead meets to honor those fighting cancer or losing their battle with the disease. To support this cause, we wear pink ties to recognize those affected by cancer. Additionally, we provide donations to cancer survivors and individuals facing ongoing medical bills related to their treatment.
